Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Divi Web Designer to join our team. This designer-focused role is centred on creating visually stunning, client-inspired websites using a variety of Divi templates and custom-designed sections. While basic custom coding (CSS) may be helpful it is not necessarily required for this job.
SEO expertise is a valuable bonus and could lead to additional work with our agency.
As a Divi Web Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with our project managers to bring clients’ visions to life. You’ll primarily work on designing, customizing, and finalizing websites, ensuring exceptional quality and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client design inspiration and requests.
- Explore and select templates aligning with client inspiration.
- Design webpages using a blend of templates and custom-designed sections.
- Blend different templates seamlessly while ensuring a cohesive design.
- Create custom-designed sections as needed.
- Use stock images, client images, and AI tools to generate filler text. (using our libraries and tools)
- Implement client-requested revisions within reasonable limits.
- Perform final QA/QC to ensure websites are ready to go live (mobile responsiveness, link functionality, etc.).
What We Handle (So You Don’t Have To)
Technical:
- Hosting environment.
- WordPress and Divi installation.
- Foundational plugin setup.
- Advanced custom coding (if needed).
We give you a website ready to start designing!
Client-Side:
- Interviewing clients to gather design inspiration.
- Presenting website drafts and gathering feedback/revisions.
Although you are welcome to sit in on client meetings if you want to, you are not required to deal with client communications. The only client communication we require is answering revision requests which are usually done within a spreadsheet.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing websites using Divi. We don’t care about other page builders.
- Strong understanding of website design principles, including responsiveness and user experience.
- Ability to work with templates creatively while maintaining design uniformity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
