Auto Mechanic Launches New Brand
When Richard’s growing auto mechanic business became too big for his original shop, he decided it was time for a change. Along with a new shop, some new team members, and a lot more equipment, Richard decided to give his business a new name. And that’s how South Pickering Auto & Tire (SOPIC) came to be.
As part of his rebrand, Richard turned to Grapevine Media for a new website and promotional video to help potential customers discover his new shop. The website would help customers to find the new shop, and the video would give potential customers a taste of the new shop.

Website Design for an Auto Mechanic
Since Richard would not need to process any payments online or integrate his website with appointment booking or point of sale systems, we decided a simple storefront-style website would be the perfect fit. Using WordPress, we built an exceptionally clean one-page responsive site that both captures leads and helps visitors find critical information with ease.
His new shops address and phone number and logo were given prominent positions in his header, followed by his key messaging and main call to action. His new site also has the ability to scale and grow easily, giving him the ability to add new content and make edits to his website himself, although Richard prefers to let us handle most of his website updates for him.
Aside from the design and development of his new site, Richard also chose to use Grapevine Media for his website hosting. We’ve got him set up on our blazing-fast Virtual Private Server (VPS) complete with a Content Distribution Network, excellent site security and ongoing website maintenance.
Brand Promo Video for Auto Mechanic
Having no HD content is a problem many small business owners face when building a modern website that has full-width images. To solve this problem, we organized a combination photo & video shoot at SOPIC’s shop in order to show visitors what the shop, staff and environment are like at SOPIC. There’s many different ways to shoot a brand promo video, but in this case we opted for a short & sweet cut of the auto shop.
